About the role
The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for the organization. Reporting to senior management, the role provides data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure financial discipline and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain financial models, validate and back‑test them.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, covering revenue, expenses and capital expenditures.
- Develop rolling forecasts and analyse variances between actuals, budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management and the Board.
- Conduct profitability analysis by business unit, product line, channel or region.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities through KPI monitoring.
- Support product profitability optimisation, funding cost optimisation and liquidity management.
- Collaborate with department heads to track performance against financial targets.
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives such as pricing and cost optimisation.
- Build complex scenario and sensitivity models for long‑term planning.
- Improve financial planning processes through automation and best practices, using SQL and BI tools.
Required profile
- At least 5 years of FP&A experience in banking, preferably with lending products or banking services.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong critical reasoning, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
