Finance Manager – Strategic Financial Planning & Control

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead our financial planning, accounting, reporting, budgeting, treasury, compliance and cost‑management functions. The role will ensure financial stability, operational efficiency and support business growth through accurate financial management and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, implement and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans aligned with organisational objectives.
• Oversee timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and performance analyses.
• Manage all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, inventory and cost accounting.
• Develop and enforce cost‑control measures to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity to ensure adequate funding for operational and strategic needs.
• Provide detailed financial analysis and business insights for management decisions, investment evaluations and strategic initiatives.
• Establish and maintain internal financial controls, policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate annual, statutory and tax audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
• Oversee treasury activities, banking relationships, cash management and foreign‑exchange transactions.
• Lead, coach and manage the finance and accounting team.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, sales, HR and other departments to improve financial efficiency.
• Develop financial models, investment appraisals and business cases for expansion projects and capital expenditures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and audit processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement cost‑control and budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of providing actionable business insights.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
