Finance Manager – Remote

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead global finance operations through a team of Senior Accountants while staying hands‑on with invoices, payments, reconciliations and allocations. You will ensure accuracy, diagnose process failures and coach the team to prevent repeat errors.

Key responsibilities

• Keep finance operations moving by prioritising work across Senior Accountants based on deadlines, business impact and financial risk.
• Inspect dashboards and completed work to verify invoices, payments, bank transactions, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and spend allocations are accurate and current.
• Diagnose quality failures, identify root causes (data, system configuration, accounting treatment or process execution) and produce evidence‑based coaching.
• Identify and implement AI, LLM and automation opportunities to eliminate manual work and improve speed and accuracy.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or Finance and a professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience with at least five audits involving a Big 4 firm, either as auditor or client.
• Finance or accounting experience in an organization with $100 M+ revenue and people‑management responsibility.
• Hands‑on experience across AP, AR, bank and control‑account reconciliations, and revenue/spend allocation.
• Ability to work US business hours.

Required skills

• Automation tools such as n8n, Lovable, Claude Code or similar platforms.
• Embedding AI or LLM tools into high‑volume finance transaction‑processing workflows.
• Strong accounting expertise for diagnosing and correcting process failures.
