Field Business Onboarding Agent

About the role

As a Field Business Onboarding Agent you will be the face of CreditVeto Business in Lagos, visiting markets and commercial clusters to introduce business owners to credit checks and financing solutions, and guiding them through on‑spot sign‑up and verification.

Key responsibilities

• Visit businesses daily within the assigned Lagos territory and present the CreditVeto Business platform.
• Explain Scorely and Marketplace services, tailoring the pitch to each business’s needs.
• Assist owners with on‑the‑spot Level 1 verification, collecting business name, CAC number, contact details, and BVN/NIN.
• Handle objections regarding data privacy, pricing, and platform functionality.
• Accurately capture KYC data and report daily on visits, onboardings, and non‑conversions.

Required profile

• Prior experience in field sales, agent banking, POS networks or similar B2B outreach; fintech experience preferred.
• Comfortable explaining financial products to first‑time contacts in plain language.
• Ability to collect sensitive information (BVN, NIN, registration details) while building trust.
• Self‑motivated, resilient to rejection, and comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for sign‑ups.
• Good spoken English plus Yoruba or another major Lagos‑relevant language.
• Minimum SSCE; a degree or diploma in business, marketing or related field is a plus.
