Facility Manager

About the role

Thyaura Partners Concept Limited, an ISO 9001:2015 certified provider of integrated facility management, cleaning services, height services and equipment leasing for commercial and residential properties, is looking for a Facility Manager based in Victoria Island and Anthony, Lagos. The post is full time and covers the day-to-day management, maintenance and smooth operation of assigned facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily facility operations to keep working environments safe, efficient and functional.
• Manage contractors, suppliers and external service providers to ensure satisfactory service delivery.
• Plan and oversee routine maintenance and emergency repairs of electrical installations, plumbing, HVAC systems, generators and other equipment.
• Carry out regular property inspections to spot maintenance needs and check compliance with health, safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, statutory regulations and applicable ISO standards.
• Identify operational challenges and propose improvements to efficiency and performance.
• Respond to equipment failures, maintenance complaints and other emergencies.
• Prepare regular reports on maintenance, performance, expenses and resource use, and keep records of inspections, repairs, incidents, schedules and expenditure.
• Monitor SLAs so contractors and maintenance teams meet service standards and deadlines.
• Manage maintenance budgets, equipment, supplies and inventory to control costs.
• Coordinate and supervise facility personnel such as technicians, cleaning staff and security officers.

Required profile

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent qualification as specified by the employer.
• Two to five years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to coordinate facility operations, maintenance activities and service providers.
• Good organisational, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills.
