Facility Manager

About the role

The Facility Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations, maintenance and reliability of the Chloe factory, offices, warehouses and other Tenece Group facilities in Enugu. The role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, compliant and cost‑effective while supporting plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and upkeep of offices, warehouses and the factory, ensuring cleanliness, safety and functionality.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, generators, fire protection and other critical infrastructure.
• Maintain a facility‑issue register, resolve maintenance requests within service timelines and develop preventive maintenance schedules.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety, environmental and HSE standards.
• Oversee vendor management, monitor service quality, SLA compliance and support procurement processes.
• Maintain an updated asset register, conduct condition assessments and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Manage security operations, access control, CCTV monitoring and visitor management.
• Support business continuity by testing backup power systems and emergency response arrangements.
• Monitor facility expenses, prepare budget inputs and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Estate Management or related field.
• 5‑7 years of relevant experience in facility or infrastructure management, preferably in a manufacturing or multi‑site environment.
• At least 2 years of experience coordinating vendors, maintenance activities, security or facility support teams.
