PREP 500 Operator – Premium Edible Oil Products

About the role

Prepare soy beans for efficient extraction at SEP500 while ensuring compliance with production, quality, occupational safety and food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect all equipment at the start of each shift.
• Monitor and control cooker‑exit moisture and flake thickness within required limits.
• Keep the percentage of uncracked beans below 2%.
• Monitor extractor speed through the SCADA system and maintain required speed to meet production targets.
• Inspect and clean the seed cleaner and destoners at required intervals.
• Maintain clean and properly lubricated machinery and work environment.
• Assist with maintenance and overhaul of machines and equipment as required.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly and use required PPE at all times.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor production processes effectively.
• Ability to operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently.
• Capability to identify and report equipment, safety and food safety issues.
• Good housekeeping practices and commitment to a clean work environment.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and comply with GMP, safety and FSMS requirements.
• Minimum O’Level certificate or Trade Test qualification.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Required skills

• Operation and monitoring of production equipment.
• Use of SCADA system for speed control.
• Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.
