Electrical Engineer (FMCG)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of our water production facility. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems across bottling, sachet and jar lines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automation equipment, including water treatment, filling, sealing, compressors and packaging machines.
• Respond quickly to electrical faults to minimise production downtime and support shift operations.
• Install, configure and commission panels, sensors, PLCs, VFDs and other control systems for new or upgraded equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lock‑out/tag‑out procedures and regulatory requirements (NAFDAC, SON).
• Document all maintenance activities, parts used and generate regular performance reports.

Required profile

• B.Eng., HND or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production or FMCG environment, preferably water or beverage manufacturing.
• Familiarity with bottling, sachet and jar water production lines.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, relays and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Excellent fault diagnosis and problem‑solving abilities.
