Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods Development Associate

About the role

The Entrepreneurship and Livelihoods Development Associate empowers women, youth and community members by facilitating programmes that build practical skills and viable income-generating pathways. The role supports the growth of small enterprises so participants can achieve economic self-sufficiency and resilience within their local economies.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify the skills, vocational interests and training needs of programme participants.
• Coordinate the logistics of entrepreneurship and vocational training, including schedules, instructional materials, venues and participant documentation.
• Facilitate workshops on business competencies such as financial planning, cost analysis, pricing strategies, savings mechanisms, customer relations and accounting.
• Guide participants in developing business concepts and strategic plans under the supervision of technical experts.
• Research and connect participants with local market prospects, service providers and potential business partnerships.
• Monitor progress, address challenges and document support needs through regular follow-ups.
• Oversee the distribution and tracking of approved livelihood resources in line with project protocols.
• Compile activity reports and collect participant feedback to improve the programme.
