Enterprise Sales Account Manager

About the role

A leading IT firm, recruited by eRecruiter, is looking for a Senior Business Development and Sales Executive. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities and converting prospects into long-term clients, with significant time spent in the field engaging decision-makers and building a strong sales pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and secure new business opportunities across target industries.
• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, cold calling, market intelligence, digital outreach and face-to-face meetings.
• Present the company's services and tailor solutions to client needs.
• Lead negotiations, prepare proposals and close profitable deals.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers in corporate, government and private sector organisations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams on onboarding and service delivery.
• Maintain sales records, forecasts and pipeline reports in the company's CRM or reporting systems.
• Represent the company at business events, conferences and industry meetings.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in business development and B2B sales.
• Demonstrated track record of generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network of corporate contacts is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; high level of professionalism, resilience and persistence.

Required skills

• Excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
