General Manager, Sales

About the role

CIG Motors is looking for a General Manager, Sales to oversee and drive the commercial success of the company. The role covers retail and fleet sales operations, including developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales teams, building customer relationships and meeting revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy and growth: develop and execute a sales strategy to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets; identify new business opportunities, key customer segments and partnership channels; plan how to win major accounts, government institutions, corporates and fleet customers.
• Sales operations and team leadership: lead, coach and manage the sales team; set performance targets, monitor progress and hold territories and dealerships accountable; oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing, delivery and after-sales handover.
• Market and customer management: build relationships with key decision-makers, corporate clients, government agencies and large fleet buyers; maintain an updated client and lead database; monitor market trends, competitors and customer feedback.
• Marketing and brand support: work with the marketing team on sales campaigns, promotions and customer engagement; support brand visibility through events, test drives, exhibitions and partnerships.

Required profile

• Over 15 years of experience in a multinational environment.
• Bachelor's degree and master's degree in relevant courses, or an MBA.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading teams in high-pressure environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, motivate and influence others.
