Electrical Engineer

About the role

RADMED HEALTHCARE DESIGN is seeking a full‑time Electrical Engineer to work on‑site in Nigeria. You will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for Radiation Oncology and Radiology Centres, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review power distribution, grounding, lighting and integration with medical equipment.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, load calculations and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot electrical issues during construction and commissioning.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, equipment suppliers and construction teams.
• Support installation of oncological and radiological devices and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering with a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Hands‑on experience in medium‑ and low‑voltage power distribution and testing.
• Familiarity with Nigerian and international electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Experience using CAD/BIM tools such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability, attention to detail and effective communication.
