Driver Trainer for Articulated Trucks

About the role

The Trainer will lead training sessions for new and experienced delivery officers, focusing on safe and efficient operation of articulated trucks. The role supports the long‑term development of DP World’s Transport Operations function.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instructional training on safe driving techniques, vehicle controls, load handling and traffic regulations for articulated truck drivers.
• Design, develop and continuously update a comprehensive training curriculum and related course materials.
• Conduct on‑board monitoring, practical tests, assessments and provide feedback to identify skill gaps.
• Provide refresher courses, mentorship and emergency response training for all drivers.
• Maintain accurate training records, generate performance reports and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience training articulated truck drivers.
• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding or manufacturing environments.

Required skills

• Articulated truck operation and safety procedures.
• Driver assessment and curriculum development.
• Emergency response and hazard management for heavy vehicles.
