CCU Fleet Manager

About the role

The CCU Fleet Manager will be responsible for the quality, tracking, maintenance and performance of the Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) fleet for our partner Librod in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. This hands‑on, yard‑based position focuses on fleet availability, repairs prioritisation and ensuring all inspections and re‑certifications are up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee yard operations and manage the performance of CCU assets, ensuring compliance with OEG standards and industry inspection criteria.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to maximise fleet availability and retire non‑economic assets.
• Supervise CCU inspections, re‑certification, workshop management and daily movement logging with the Commercial team.
• Lead and mentor local teams, fostering skill development, operational efficiency and a strong QHSE culture.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in E&P logistics, oilfield services or related operational disciplines.
• Proven track record in managing CCU fabrication, assembly, welding and repairs.
• Strong leadership experience in fleet and CCU operations with a focus on asset integrity.
• Experience working in African or comparable emerging markets and ability to adapt to regional dynamics.
