About the role
The Direct Sales Agent will promote banking services, acquire new customers and support them in using digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Open accounts and acquire customers for agency banking and POS operations.
- Handle cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments and airtime.
- Mobilize savings, including daily contribution (esusu) schemes.
- Enroll customers on digital banking channels such as USSD and mobile app.
- Educate customers on safe use of products and fraud awareness.
- Identify and refer prospective borrowers to the bank.
- Provide basic field support, forward complaints and give market feedback.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of SSCE/WAEC, OND or HND.
- Basic digital literacy and familiarity with smartphones and mobile applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a field‑based environment and meet targets.
