Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will plan, market, organise and execute training mandates, leveraging business development expertise to drive revenue growth and client acquisition through high‑quality, customised training solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and actively seek new business opportunities by promoting training services through various channels.
• Design and deliver comprehensive training programmes tailored to client needs, focusing on skill enhancement and organisational performance.
• Conduct research to identify trends and training needs, develop proposals and marketing strategies, and maximise enrolment in scheduled courses.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients, gather feedback to improve existing products and create new offerings.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field (minimum 2:2); HR qualifications are an advantage.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience as a training consultant, coordinator or similar role.
• Strong organisational, communication and presentation abilities, with a proactive, results‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships and drive business growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with contemporary data‑management software.
