Deputy General Manager - Real Estate

About the role

Dmidaf Global Consult LTD, an HR solutions provider serving clients in telecommunications, IT, real estate, banking and other sectors, is hiring a Deputy General Manager (Real Estate). This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja, overseeing day-to-day real estate operations such as property acquisition, development planning, leasing and portfolio optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder relationships and coordinate with legal, finance and technical teams so projects meet organizational objectives and regulatory standards.
• Monitor market trends and lead negotiations with partners and vendors.
• Prepare reports and business cases for senior leadership.
• Implement policies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Mentor team members, drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives within the real estate division.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field; a relevant master's degree or professional certification (e.g. NIESV, real estate management) is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a senior or management role in the real estate sector, preferably in a consulting or multi-sector environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and risk management awareness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to prepare reports and present to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Real estate project management, including planning, execution and oversight of property development and investment activities.
• Financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting for real estate portfolios and projects.
• Knowledge of real estate laws, regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Abuja and the wider Nigerian market.
• Stakeholder management, contract negotiation and relationship building.
• Team leadership, delegation and talent development.
