Delegation and Training Coordinator and Competence Manager

About the role

The Delegation and Training Coordinator and Competence Manager supports Siemens Energy’s Regional Offices in Africa by overseeing personnel deployment, training logistics, and competence tracking. This newly created position ensures that technical staff are ready, qualified, and compliant for on‑shore field service projects across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the mobilization of technical personnel to service projects, ensuring timely delegations.
• Serve as the central contact for delegation requests, liaising with project managers, service teams, and employees.
• Manage pre‑deployment logistics, including travel, visas, and site access.
• Maintain accurate personnel assignment records in the resource planning system.
• Drive improvements and handle escalations related to travel management and expenses.
• Plan, schedule, and organize technical, safety, and compliance training sessions based on identified needs.
• Track training completion and update records in the learning management system (LMS).
• Develop and maintain a competence matrix for all technical staff, documenting qualifications and certifications.
• Monitor certification validity, schedule renewals, and prevent compliance lapses.
• Generate regular reports on competence levels, training progress, and compliance status for management.

Required profile

• Team Leader (M1) experience with resource planning, training coordination, and competence administration.
• Proven ability to supervise para‑professionals and manage operational workflows.
• Strong understanding of company policies, regulatory standards, and multi‑country service environments.
