Community Manager

About the role

A company is looking for a passionate Community Manager to help build and nurture its community of users and supporters. The role focuses on building relationships, fostering engagement and facilitating communication across various platforms and channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run community engagement strategies to grow and nurture users, customers and supporters.
• Monitor and take part in community discussions, forums, social media channels and other online platforms, addressing members' needs and concerns.
• Create and curate content such as blog posts, newsletters, social media posts and community events.
• Act as the community's voice inside the company, advocating for their needs, feedback and concerns.
• Work with marketing, customer support, product development and sales to align community initiatives with business goals.
• Build relationships with key influencers, advocates and partners to amplify the brand message.
• Analyse community metrics and feedback to measure effectiveness and find improvements.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices and emerging community management technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Community Manager or similar role, with a track record of building online communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent writing and editing skills.
• Passion for community building and meaningful connections with users and supporters.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Experience managing social media channels, online forums and community platforms.
• Knowledge of community management tools, social media management tools, community forums and analytics platforms.
