Data Mining Intern

About the role

An international high-tech company is looking for motivated, detail-oriented and proactive interns to join its Data Mining Team. The internship gives hands-on experience in B2B data mining, lead generation, prospect research, business development and social media marketing, using professional tools and platforms. The main focus is a new campaign for Aperture Ventures, the company's startup initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct data mining and extraction from various sources to build and maintain high-quality email databases
• Carry out additional online research to identify and validate prospects
• Organize and submit mined data according to the team's required format
• Clean, validate and organize datasheets to ensure accuracy and usability
• Assist with social media marketing tasks, including content support, posting and engagement
• Follow campaign-specific instructions and meet assigned productivity and quality targets
• Communicate questions or issues to the Team Lead/Manager when clarification is needed

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field
• Basic knowledge of data mining or database management
• Interest in or basic familiarity with social media marketing and email marketing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication, and strong organizational abilities

Required skills

• Excel and Google Sheets for data organization
• Basic familiarity with social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook and X
• Learning activities cover B2B sales, lead generation, email marketing tools, data management and professional communication
