Client Acquisition Officer

About the role

Joft Recruit is a recruitment and HR consulting firm offering services to job seekers, employers and HR professionals. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Client Acquisition Officer in Lekki to identify, engage and onboard new corporate clients for its recruitment and HR consulting services. The role covers the full client acquisition cycle, from lead generation and needs assessment to proposal development, negotiation and closing.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect potential clients and conduct outreach by calls, emails and in-person meetings
• Present tailored service offerings to decision-makers
• Maintain a structured sales pipeline and track client interactions in a CRM or similar system
• Collaborate with internal recruitment and HR teams to ensure smooth handover and service delivery
• Carry out ongoing market research, take part in networking events and gather feedback to improve client acquisition strategies

Required profile

• Prior experience in business development, sales or client acquisition, ideally in recruitment, HR consulting or professional services
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience also considered
• Experience in purchase management and purchasing, including handling service agreements, pricing structures and contracts
