Business Development & Executive Associate (English/French)

About the role

Idomit Agro is building relationships with customers, suppliers and partners across Francophone West Africa and needs someone comfortable in English and French to keep things moving. This is an early-career role working closely with the CEO and senior leaders, combining business development support with executive and administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Research potential customers, suppliers and partners, especially in Francophone West Africa, and keep the opportunity database and business development pipeline up to date
• Help with outreach to prospective partners in English and French, coordinate introductions and meetings, and ensure follow-up takes place
• Prepare short market research notes for management
• Schedule meetings, manage appointments, prepare agendas and minutes, and draft emails, letters, presentations and other business documents
• Help organise travel, events and business visits, and keep records in Zoho WorkDrive
• Translate business correspondence and materials between English and French, and support communication with French-speaking partners and bilingual presentations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, International Relations, Languages, Marketing or a related field
• Fluent written and spoken English and French
• Strong communication, organisation and research skills
• Discretion with confidential information and willingness to travel within West Africa when required
• Preferred: 1 to 3 years' relevant experience and experience working with Francophone African markets

Required skills

• Confident with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and willing to learn new digital tools including Zoho
• Shortlisted candidates may be asked to take a written and spoken French-language assessment
