Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

Agriarche is building Africa's agricultural operating system and seeks a CFO to lead a world‑class finance function. The CFO will drive financial strategy, reporting, treasury, fundraising and governance to support rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements, board reports and management accounts.
• Oversee budgeting, variance analysis, cash‑flow management and working‑capital efficiency.
• Lead treasury functions, banking relationships, FX management and liquidity planning.
• Design and execute debt and equity fundraising, investor due diligence and capital‑markets strategies.
• Develop structured‑finance solutions, commercial paper programs and blended‑finance structures.
• Ensure tax compliance, statutory filings, internal controls and audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; ACA/ACCA/CPA required.
• 8‑12 years of finance experience, including 5+ years in senior finance leadership.
• Proven institutional fundraising experience with banks, DFIs or investors.
• Experience in commercial paper or structured finance is preferred.
