About the role
We are looking for a skilled Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team on a contract basis. The role involves preparing a variety of local and continental dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. You will work in a fast‑paced environment serving our customers in Edo, Marina.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Ensure food is presented to a high standard and monitor freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
- Manage ingredient inventory and report any stock shortages.
- Follow food safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Required profile
- At least 24 months of experience in a kitchen role such as Chef, Cook or Kitchen Assistant.
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude.
