Chef (Food Production)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our kitchen team at Chester Fries in Marina. You will be responsible for preparing a range of dishes and beverages while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Moi Moi according to standard recipes and portion requirements.
• Make a variety of fresh juices and beverages using quality ingredients.
• Wash, cut, mix, and prepare salads and dressings.
• Ensure proper cleaning, handling, and storage of all ingredients before and after preparation.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation at all times.
• Portion, package, label, and present products correctly.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, report any spoilage, and manage inventory levels.
• Minimize waste by following standard production procedures.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work surfaces after use.
• Store prepared products at appropriate temperatures in suitable containers.
• Follow health, safety, and food‑handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure product availability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Perform additional food‑production duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Management.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• At least an HND in a related field.
