Chartered Accountant – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

Urban Crescent Furniture Ltd is seeking a Chartered Accountant with strong manufacturing accounting experience to manage accounting, financial reporting and control functions. The role involves overseeing manufacturing costs, inventory, budgeting and cash‑flow management while advising senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet and cash‑flow reports.
• Manage manufacturing and cost accounting for materials, labour, overheads and work‑in‑progress.
• Determine and monitor product and project profitability.
• Monitor inventory valuation, material consumption, wastage and production cost variances.
• Reconcile procurement transactions, supplier invoices, inventory records and payments.
• Prepare budgets and rolling cash‑flow forecasts and flag potential cash‑flow risks.
• Review payroll, bank reconciliations and key financial transactions.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls, approval procedures and ensure tax, statutory and audit compliance.

Required profile

• ACA (ICAN) or ACCA qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory, WIP and management accounting.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cash‑flow management and financial controls.

What we offer

• Monthly gross salary of ₦300,000.
• Transport and feeding allowances after 3 months, bringing total package to ₦350,000.
