Business Relationship Manager – Field Sales

About the role

The Business Relationship Manager drives business growth by expanding Monipoint’s merchant footprint, building high‑value customer relationships, and delivering tailored financial solutions. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end merchant acquisition, terminal deployment and account retention across assigned commercial areas.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, visit, and onboard prospective merchants through field engagement, referrals, and local trade community outreach.
• Educate business owners on Monipoint’s suite of products, recommending solutions that match their operational and growth goals.
• Achieve and exceed monthly targets for active merchant onboarding, terminal deployment, loan disbursements, and repayments.
• Oversee end‑to‑end merchant onboarding, ensuring accurate KYC documentation and strict adherence to operational SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with merchants to encourage account activity, high transaction volume, and ongoing retention.
• Conduct transparent discussions on pricing, terms, and agreements within established company guidelines to build trusted partnerships.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries, resolving issues promptly or escalating complex operational needs appropriately.
