Business Development & Tendering Executive

About the role

The Business Development & Tendering Executive will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships and leading tender processes across oil & gas, construction and marine sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, building a structured pipeline from lead generation to contract award.
• Maintain and expand relationships with key decision‑makers in oil & gas, EPC, construction, maritime and equipment leasing companies.
• Monitor tender, RFQ and RFP opportunities, coordinate preparation of proposals and ensure compliant, timely submissions.
• Conduct market research to provide actionable intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities and upcoming projects.
• Support commercial negotiations, contract hand‑over and contribute to market‑entry strategies for new regions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in business administration, marketing, engineering, economics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, tendering or commercial management within oil & gas, construction or marine sectors.
• Proven track record in tender preparation, pre‑qualification and securing contracts.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM or business development platforms.

What we offer

• Remuneration: NGN 700,000 per month.
