Business Development Executive

About the role

Capimore Nigeria is hiring a Business Development Executive in Lagos (Marina) to promote its services face-to-face at events, exhibitions, shopping malls and other promotional locations. The role involves collecting leads, supporting promotional stands and creating short social media content.

Key responsibilities

• Attend assigned events, exhibitions, shopping malls and promotional locations.
• Distribute flyers and talk to potential customers about the services.
• Explain services clearly and refer detailed enquiries to the right team.
• Collect names, phone numbers and areas of interest with consent, then record and submit contacts for follow-up.
• Create short promotional videos, photos and posts for social media.
• Support the setup and running of promotional stands.
• Report on locations visited, flyers distributed, enquiries and leads generated.
• Work toward agreed activity and lead-generation targets.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken English and clear written communication.
• Confidence approaching members of the public and a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to handle rejection politely.
• Willingness to travel between locations, stand or walk for long periods and attend occasional evening or weekend events.
• Previous experience in promotions, sales, customer service or social media is desirable.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of social media platforms and smartphone-based content creation.
• Comfortable recording videos and appearing on camera.
• Use of digital forms, spreadsheets or similar tools to record customer data.
• Good organisation, timekeeping and ability to work with limited supervision.
