Business Development Associate

About the role

The Business Development Associate will support the founder in transitioning daily operations, establishing a vocational training centre, and driving revenue growth for the printing press serving schools in Ibadan and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Shadow the founder to document operational workflows, supplier networks, maintenance schedules and production techniques; assume full ownership of logistics, supply‑chain and vendor relations.
• Build and maintain a digitised database of school clients, order histories and delivery preferences.
• Co‑create a modular vocational‑training curriculum (pre‑press, press, post‑press) and design recruitment, code of conduct and safety procedures for the training wing.
• Set up the digital hub – install laptops, required software and internet infrastructure for the first trainee cohort.
• Integrate trainees into the production line of custom exercise books and publications.
• Market bespoke printing services to new primary and secondary schools in Ibadan and neighbouring communities.
• Introduce high‑margin products such as customised yearbooks, branded certificates, exam stationery and school magazines.
• Identify and launch alternative revenue streams like weekend print workshops, digital design courses or partnerships with development organisations.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of a BSc degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar business‑development or sales role.
