Brand & Marketing Manager

About the role

The Brand & Marketing Manager will develop and execute brand and marketing strategies that drive awareness, consumer engagement, market penetration, sales growth and profitability. The role works closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to ensure marketing activities translate into measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual brand and marketing strategies aligned with commercial objectives.
• Manage assigned brands, including positioning, consumer strategy, brand growth and market expansion.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional media, events, activations and trade channels.
• Drive trade marketing initiatives that support sales volume, value, distribution and brand visibility.
• Oversee digital marketing, social media and influencer/partnership initiatives.
• Conduct market, consumer and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and threats.
• Manage marketing budgets and evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
• Collaborate with Sales, distributors and key accounts to translate brand strategy into commercial initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Advertising or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing, trade marketing or FMCG.
• Strong experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Beverages, Hospitality or related sectors is highly desirable.
• Proven experience managing brands and marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian consumer and trade environment.
