About the role
We are seeking a reliable, customer‑focused individual to join our café team in Yaba as a Barista. No prior barista experience is required as training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages after training.
- Provide professional customer service and take accurate orders.
- Maintain sales and payment records, and handle cash transactions.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and speed of service.
- Monitor stock levels, maintain inventory records, and support daily café operations.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Address customer requests and resolve routine operational issues.
Required profile
- Reside in Yaba or surrounding areas.
- Fast learner, willing to learn coffee preparation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic numeracy for handling sales, payments, and stock records.
- Professional, neat, and presentable appearance.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and availability to work weekends.
