Audit Analyst – Nigeria

About the role

Dangote Industries Limited is hiring an Audit Analyst for Nigeria, based at its Head Office in Lagos. The role is to carry out the audit plan in line with professional standards and communicate all relevant findings, especially those that are critical or potentially significant.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements and document insights, findings and recommendations.
• Review the capital and operational budget.
• Conduct assessments of operational procedures and processes, and report on financial and operational irregularities found, recommending remedial action.
• Carry out field surveys to gather information on the units and departments to be audited.
• Present findings and recommendations in the agreed format set by the Head of Audit.
• Adhere to key accounting and audit standards and principles while supporting the Specialist SBU Control so that the audit objectives are met on time and within budget.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting or a related discipline; a master's degree in accounting or an MBA is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of financial and operational audit experience.
• Big 4, global corporate or international experience is a distinct advantage; experience across several industries such as manufacturing, energy and utilities, and international exposure, is also valued.
• Membership of the CIA, ICAN, ACCA or CPA is an added advantage.
