Associate Finance Operations

About the role

Charles Ardor is looking for an Associate, Finance Operations to be the first line of quality control on client financial work. You will review reconciliations, month‑end close, schedules and tax prepared by analysts and client finance teams, ensure figures match source records, and produce the monthly client report.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify reconciliations, month‑end close, schedules and tax work before it reaches the Supervisor.
• Confirm that each reported figure aligns with its source documentation.
• Prepare clear monthly reports that explain what the figures show for each client.
• Provide constructive feedback to analysts to improve future work.
• Manage multiple client cycles simultaneously to meet monthly deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in bookkeeping, reconciliations, month‑end close and tax with hands‑on experience.
• Ability to prepare clear, explanatory reports, not just present numbers.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) or progress towards one is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, able to spot errors even when they are not obvious.
• Self‑motivated ownership of work and ability to meet structured monthly cycles without being chased.
