About the role
The Senior Accounting Officer – Receivables will manage the accounts receivable function, ensure accurate financial records, and support month‑end closing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and monitor outstanding customer payments.
- Prepare receivables ageing reports and follow up on overdue balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of transactions.
- Support month‑end closing, audits, compliance, and cash‑flow forecasting.
- Analyse receivables and provide financial reports to management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial management.
- At least 2 years post‑qualification experience with ICAN or ACCA.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with accounting software; SAP experience is an advantage.
