Assistant Director of Sales II

About the role

The Assistant Director of Sales II supports the property’s segmented sales efforts, driving revenue across group, transient, association, and corporate markets. You will work closely with the sales leader and the Director of Sales to implement strategies that meet revenue targets while ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales leader to develop, execute, and monitor segment‑specific sales strategies.
• Lead aggressive solicitation programs and create sales plans that address revenue, customer acquisition, and market positioning.
• Set personal booking goals and recommend targets for the sales team to maximize revenue potential.
• Approve space releases for catering, participate in sales calls, and manage the operational aspects of booked business (proposals, contracts, correspondence).
• Analyze market data using sales systems, support revenue management with accurate forecasts, and review guest satisfaction results to identify improvement areas.
• Demonstrate leadership in guest hospitality, gather feedback, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Required profile

• Either a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field with at least 3 years of sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
