Area Phone Business Manager – Damaturu, Yobe State

About the role

The Area Phone Business Manager will lead PayGo phone sales and oversee a network of commission‑based agents in Damaturu, Yobe State. You will translate Sun King’s phone‑business strategy into on‑the‑ground results, ensuring strong sales performance, high repayment quality and disciplined inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and certify new agents (Litmos Phase 1) and convert existing Sun King agents into phone‑selling partners.
• Drive monthly unit targets, monitor agent productivity and apply micro‑incentives to boost sales.
• Coach agents on quality customer onboarding, follow up on defaulting customers and manage collection metrics (FPD, PAR30).
• Maintain agent stock levels, conduct monthly audits and ensure accurate weekly reporting.
• Conduct regular field visits, ride‑alongs and coaching sessions to retain and motivate agents.
• Ensure full compliance with Sun King policies and zero tolerance for unethical practices.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a business‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on field sales experience.
• Experience in PayGo, device financing or agent‑network sales (solar experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of the assigned territory and its trade routes.
