Aquatherapist – Therapeutic Water Sessions

About the role

Caring Habitat is seeking a qualified Aquatherapist to deliver therapeutic aquatic sessions for patients in Lagos. You will design and lead water‑based exercises that aid physical rehabilitation, pain management, and overall well‑being in a safe, compassionate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs and develop personalized aquatic therapy programs.
• Conduct supervised pool sessions, guiding patients through exercises and monitoring progress.
• Document treatment outcomes accurately and maintain up‑to‑date patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Educate patients and families on the benefits and proper use of aquatic therapy.
• Maintain pool equipment, hygiene standards, and adhere to infection‑control procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as an Aquatherapist.
• Diploma in Aquatherapy or a related field.
• Valid professional practicing license.
• Strong commitment to patient safety and pool regulations.
• Physical ability to work safely in and around water.
