Activation & Content Lead

About the role

Shipngrab Nigeria Limited is hiring an Activation & Content Lead in Lagos (Marina) as an independent contractor. The role is project-based, not employment, and is judged on payments received by sellers. It is open to a mid-level candidate with about 36 months of experience. The engagement is a monthly retainer plus uncapped incentives on the revenue delivered, agreed at the interview; if results are achieved, the role can become permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Attend offline events, introduce the product and onboard customers.
• Engage the online community and explain the product through a weekly live training in the WhatsApp group, starting from week two, focused on the sellers' business rather than the product's features.
• Produce practical, specific tutorial videos showing one concrete thing a seller gains; the company provides the AI tooling, so the lead chooses what is worth making.
• Maintain a steady, useful social presence aimed at sellers, not at other startups.
• Share a weekly number on free-to-paid conversions and explain the named reason behind every loss.

Required profile

• Tech-savvy and able to teach non-technical people without making them feel stupid; marketing credentials matter less than this.
• Comfortable on camera and fast with AI content tools.
• Numerate, able to hold a funnel in mind and report it without being asked.
• Willing to tell the founder that the product is the problem when it is.
• Not suited to someone who measures work by reach, impressions or followers, or who wants a brand or creative role.
