Accounts Manager – Finance Operations (Oil & Gas)

About the role

Swift Consulting is seeking a highly organized Accounts Manager to lead the financial operations of a reputable oil & gas servicing company. The role involves overseeing accounting processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing accurate financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Develop and maintain effective accounting systems, internal controls, and financial procedures.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and industry financial standards.
• Coordinate external audits and support internal audit processes when required.
• Monitor company budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support business objectives.
• Provide financial analysis and advisory support to management for operational and strategic decisions.
• Manage proper documentation, filing systems, and financial record archiving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as ICAN (preferred).
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and compliance procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
