Accountant – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced Accountant to lead the financial functions of its manufacturing division. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic financial decisions that drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounting tasks and teams across the manufacturing unit.
• Maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries specific to production.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports detailing departmental performance and profitability.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities for manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Handle all tax matters and compliance for the organization.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial statements.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• ICAN qualification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for cross‑department collaboration.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of NGN 150,000 – 200,000 per month.
