Accountant – Logistics & International Distribution

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to oversee financial operations within a structured logistics and international distribution environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing reliable data to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain income statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow reports.
• Process payroll and remit statutory obligations such as PAYE, VAT, and WHT.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow across operations.
• Track expenses, revenue, and operational costs with proper documentation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control processes.
• Liaise with auditors and assist during audit procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably in logistics or a related industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a structured, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
