About the role
The client seeks a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its finance team in Ikeja, Lagos. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile general ledgers, bank statements and balance sheets.
- Analyse financial data and monitor business expenses.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management and tax purposes.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Support tax filing and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience and completed NYSC.
- Strong analytical, numerical and organisational abilities with attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
