Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Ibadan

About the role

LAFE'S BUILDING & PROPERTIES LIMITED is seeking a full‑time Accountant to join its finance team in Ibadan. The role involves managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate books, and supporting the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Process day‑to‑day financial transactions and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
• Develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis.
• Analyse financial data to support decision‑making.
• Assist with compliance, audit preparation and execution.
• Contribute to financial planning, cost‑control strategies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Experience with financial data analysis, audit preparation and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with construction or supply‑chain financial processes is a plus.
