Accountant – Full‑time, Lagos

About the role

The company is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage daily financial operations and support strategic financial planning. This full‑time position is based in Ebute Metta, Lagos and offers the opportunity to work closely with management and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment schedules and other financial documents.
• Monitor income, expenses, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and account statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements and company policies.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors and other stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Must reside in or around Ebute Metta, Lagos.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy.
