Account Manager – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Account Manager to lead accounting operations at our manufacturing facility in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities, including ledger maintenance and account reconciliation.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production and management teams to deliver financial insights.
• Manage and optimize the use of ERP and accounting software.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or building‑materials industry.
• Professional certification such as ICAN is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
