About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic waiters and waitresses to join our team at Jades of Green Consulting in Lagos. The role involves preparing tables, welcoming guests, taking orders and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare tables and service stations and maintain a clean, orderly dining area.
- Welcome guests, explain the menu and recommend appropriate meals and beverages.
- Ask about allergies, communicate them through the approved process and avoid making unverified assurances.
- Enter orders accurately in the POS and coordinate with the kitchen and bar.
- Serve orders, check guest satisfaction, clear tables and report complaints or delays promptly.
- Present accurate bills, process payments as assigned and hand over cash through approved controls.
Required profile
- A minimum of an OND in a related field.
- Good spoken communication.
- Numeracy skills.
- Professional grooming.
- Ability to work well in a team.
