About the role
A fintech company in Lagos is looking for a UI/UX designer with 0-2 years of experience to create intuitive and visually compelling digital solutions. You will understand user requirements, develop interface designs and improve user journeys, working closely with development teams and product stakeholders on web and mobile applications.
Key responsibilities
- Run user research, interviews and usability tests to uncover user needs and challenges
- Produce user flows, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
- Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile
- Maintain a consistent design system across products
- Work with product managers, engineers and stakeholders through the product lifecycle
- Turn business objectives into intuitive user experiences and optimise products using user feedback and data
- Ensure designs follow accessibility and usability guidelines
- Collaborate with front-end developers so designs are implemented correctly
- Stay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools and best practices
