Trainee Recruitment Consultant (NYSC)

About the role

eRecruiter Nigeria, a results-driven recruitment consulting firm, is recruiting a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for its NYSC programme. The trainees receive training designed to build on their strengths and improve their weaknesses, and they will be trained to become full-fledged 360-degree recruitment consultants. The role is based in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Resource and place top talent with top companies, finding candidates through various methods
• Develop existing relationships with candidates and resourcing new ones through networking, headhunting and database work
• Build new client relationships through cold calling, networking and lead generation
• Advertise roles according to each client's specific requirements
• Prepare interviews and give candidates interview feedback

Required profile

• Serving corps member (NYSC)
• Graduate of a Federal or State university in Nigeria
• No experience required; smart, focused and passionate about talent
• Strong negotiation skills and understanding of the sales process
• Excellent communication skills and very detail-oriented
• Very technology-savvy; the job is not a typical 9-5 and can involve long days
