About the role
UNICEF Nigeria is seeking a consultant to develop the 2028‑2032 Strategic Partnerships for Impact (Resource Mobilization) Strategy. The role will be home‑based and focuses on identifying untapped funding opportunities and strengthening partnerships across public and private sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Design the 2028‑2032 Strategic Partnerships for Impact strategy aligned with the Country Programme.
- Analyse current funding streams and identify new resource mobilisation opportunities.
- Strengthen and influence ODA programmes, public‑private partnerships and private‑sector engagement.
- Advocate and fundraise with international financial institutions and development banks for child‑focused investments.
- Promote South‑South and horizontal cooperation within and beyond the region.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree (MA or equivalent) in finance, development economics, public policy, business administration, international relations, international development or a related field.
